This sign’s high standards are what we’re going to focus on during this half of the cycle. Critical and exacting, Virgo pours over each and every detail - no matter how small. It is this gift for precision and logic that gives her a great talent for problem solving, but at times can also become burdensome - for both those close to her and for herself.
On her worst days, she can be extremely critical. A perfectionist to a fault, Virgo’s well-meaning feedback can become exhausting. To others, her nit-picking can come off as hurtful and judgmental - we must learn to understand that the standards that we hold for ourselves may not be same as the ones that others do. But as harsh as she can be on those around her, there is no one Virgos are harsher towards than themselves. At times, their inner dialogue can be filled with questions - of what they "should" be doing, how something "should" be handled, who they "should" be.
What can be truly damaging about perfectionism is that it is immobilizing. Sometimes making a decision and taking action requires a bit of faith. Not everything can be calculated, analyzed and ordered into a neat package. What criticisms we express towards others is only a reflection of the our own insecurities - we dislike in others that which we dislike in ourselves. And what criticisms Virgo verbally expresses is just a fraction of the burden that she carries within. The weight of all this negativity towards oneself can take a heavy toll.
